The vision was to bring the work of students together from across disciplines, to create an environment for pondering well-being through different mediums. There's great enthusiasm for this idea and a group of students was organised to share their work in a way that would impact the well-being of their fellow students.
Where we ran into a road block was finding an appropriate space to hold the exhibition. Our ideal vision was to host the exhibit in the beautiful Tea Rooms, floor C of the museum building. This was going to be a difficult space to hire as security would need to be provided for the entirety of the exhibition (including overnight). Next we enquired about using the new Wellbeing space near the library. This was looking promising but unfortunately we haven't been able to see this project through as COVID became a barrier for in person events and as the timeline was pushed out other commitments became priority for the students involved. We would love to work on more projects like this! Perhaps even bring back this particular one when we're able to return to alert level 1. In future we might look at digital exhibitions or think about other ways for students to share work that are pandemic friendly.
